Fundraising

Greta undergoes maintenance all year round with the bulk of the maintenance being carried out during the non-sailing season in the Winter months. All funds from the previous sailings seasons are ploughed back in to her ongoing care and essential repairs. As Greta is privately owned we are unable to apply for lottery, government or non-historical grants.

So we have set up a PayPal account for on going fundraising for anyone who would like to donate to the maintenance to our historical Thames Sailing barge Greta.

We are always looking for volunteers, from sponsorship, benefactors and helpers, anything to help keep this historic old girl sailing around the Thames Estuary.
