but she must return by 7 without problems

of any sorts

She out at sea all day

With the seals and Porpoises having

a play

Swiftly sailing many seas

Skipper Steve is at the helm looking very pleased

She carries two dogs

with no bumping into logs

There was once a salty old Skipper called Steve

whose sails were hard to heave

who sailed the  salty seas

He'd take you and if you made the teas!

or you'll have to leave

is very large

She sails across deep blue seas

as she floats with the breeze

Alfie and Ludo are dogs

but they make as much noise as water hogs

I you go on the barge you will have a lovely day

and you will be sad when you go away

Skipper Steve is very pleased

as he sails the sea's

in his beautiful boat

and when it's cold wear your coat

Greta is a barge,

she is very very large.

Greta is a barge,

and she couldn't fit in a BIG garage

She sails across the seven seas,

getting pushed by the breeze,

she has saved many lives,

so when you leave say your good byes.

Now lets go to catch some fish,

will fry them up and put them on a dish,

will eat them for supper,

with a biscuit and  cupper.

Can you smell the Christmas roast

cooking in the Kitchen oven,

lots of people on the deck.

here comes a Whale, blooming heck.

Sailing is fun on the old barge.

It is a boat which is very large.

Come sail the sea on Miss Lethbridge's boat.

Have lots of fun sailing the sea.

Alfie and Ludo make noise when its time for tea.

Everyone on there agrees its bliss,

her brilliance you won't miss!

A place for Alfie and Ludo to sleep,

she bobs along without a peep

She really is a beautiful barge,

there's lots of room cause she's so large!

The Norris family love every bit,

even though Mrs N gets a bit sick!

Skipper Steve pulls up the ropes,

then washes the deck with lots of soaps!

Every day there are fantastic feasts,

watch out for water beasts!

Again we pull the ropes with heave,

What a busy day for Skipper Steve!

When they go to see the Forts she can only just fit through

She is recognised everywhere

and is sailed with lots of care

She likes to go and prow

and has never had a tow

Alfie and Ludo like to play

they like to have a fuss and tickle all day

When Miss Lethbridge has to go

they cry and say no no !

When it's time to go to bed

Gorgeous Greta likes to rest her head.

Graceful Greta is a bit of a lady

she likes to find somewhere shady.

Greta is a graceful glider

and she never looks any wider

On her sails there is some writing

A lovely home for Alfie and Ludo to sleep at night

Greta is a barge,

She is very large,

She sails the seven seas,

even in a tough breeze.

Skipper Steve pull the ropes,

while people wash the decks with soaps,

Skipper Steve looks out at sea,

whilst Miss Lethbridge makes the tea.

Greta is very old,

to Skipper Steve she's as wonderful as gold,

Alfie and Ludo are cute little dogs,

they make as much noise as water hogs!

People walk along the blue deck,

here comes a big wave blooming eck.

Greta sails along with pride,

come and see the inside.

Lets go fishing to find some fish,

I will fry them up and eat them in a dish.

The barge is made of thick oak,

so don't worry it won't soak.

She's out at sea all day long,

In the evening she moors by a buoy.

On the sea Greta will lie,

but now, I'm sorry, I am saying goodbye!

she is very very large

She rescued some soldiers from Dunkirk

that must have been a lot of work

Grand Greta is graceful to ride

She would be so hard to hide

Greta has a striped flag

and the dogs tails go wag wag wag

She is recognised everywhere

and is sailed with lots of care

She goes early in the morning

when all the crew are yawning

Alfie and Ludo are the dogs

they bark when there are misty fogs

There's a stern and a bow

at the sight you would go wow.

leading the way

but the salty Skipper Steve

does not like to obey

Alfie and Ludo bark all day

its always nice to have a play

gorgeous smells sneak through the galley

everyone can smell it all through the valley

She is recognised everywhere and treated

 with good care
